Arts Advocacy Month: YACsters speak out!
In honor of Arts Advocacy Month, hear from some of our YACsters about why the arts matter to them and other young artists.
April is Arts Advocacy Month, so it's time to ask our representatives to continue funding the arts in California. We have four state representatives in Monterey County:

Please take a moment to send your representative a quick note to "support the arts" by increasing funding to the California Arts Council. Currently, California is 28th in the nation in per capita spending ($.65) on the arts, and our industry has been uniquely impacted by the pandemic. We would like to see an increase to $1.00 per capita for funding the arts in California.
