YAC Alum Khalid Hussein at Old Capitol Books!

Old Capitol Books Presents Khalid Hussein Artist Graphic novelist Saturday June 29th 4pm.

YAC alumni, artist, and graphic novelist Khalid Hussein will be speaking about his work at Old Capital Books on Saturday, June 29th at 4pm!

Khalid will be speaking about The Case For Revolution, a graphic novel adaptation he illustrated of Dennis Loo’s Globalization and the Demolition of Society. This volume analyzes the historical and ideological development and underpinnings of modern global capitalism, and represents part one of this series. It begins with the philosophical origins of the modern global system, and extends into the politics of the early 21st century. Khal intricately illustrates Dennis Loo’s exposition, building a case for radical change in the structure of the world’s economic and political systems.
