LiveART 2016 Appreciation Attack!
This year’s was our fifth annual LiveART and was truly one of our best yet! In case you missed it, check out our awesome time-lapse video of the sketch circle here! We could not have pulled it off without every one of you. You were hugely generous with your time, talents, donations – and all in the name of YAC. So here comes an epic thank you from a couple of deeply appreciative founders.
Visual artists, you created gorgeous work right in front of our eyes, all night long. What a performance! Musicians, you were brilliant at LiveART. Attendees said this LiveART’s music was the best. And we completely agree. Thank you to the Pip Squeeks, Adam Behan (of El Camino Sutra), Kenny Chung (from American Trash Bird), David Sanchez (w/ Jazz Ensemble), Juan Sanchez, Grammar, Mike Selbicky (of Sky Country), and Keith Damron (for not only performing his awesome music, but producing the musical half of LiveART. He is one of YAC’s illustrious alumni).Big shout out to the following most generous and enthusiastic volunteers (parents, friends, board members, and alumni) who helped us put on this awesome party – Sandy Kathey, Reina Romero, Nick Biddle, Stacey Hogan, Shannon McCarty, Janet Myer, Kirk Probasco, Susan McKendry, Eugene Loh, Colleen Frye, Elizabeth Moore, Holly Goodwin, Maria Morales, Emily Southard, Marcos Poehner, Bryce Eischer, Terri and Tim Pipes, Peggy Alonas, and Dusan Cvetkovic.Huge thanks to Monterey County Vintners and Growers Association and Silvestri Vineyards – who so graciously donated all the wine, and Sew-Plz Biz – for donating all of the paper-wares for the food!And to our fabulous board – who have our backs.
