Artathon 2015!

It was another successful 24hr artathon! This was our 14th Artathon and it was one of the best yet! Not only was our YACster and mentor participation OUTSTANDING, but we also had five YACalum who were crazy enough to come back and join us.Artathon has become a tradition, a rite of passage, and our most successful grassroots fundraising event. We do this wild marathon of art-making every year to raise the majority of YAC’s operational needs. This year, for the first time ever, we have the support of not just one but two foundations – the Chapman and Nancy Buck Ransom Foundations – who are providing matching grants for all your generous donations! Both grants run through the end of July, so please join us if you haven’t already!If you’d like to see some of the fabulous work that was made during Artathon, then come to our Summer Art Show Friday, July 31st 5-9pm! This spectacular show will feature all new YACster and mentor art including work done during the 24hr Artathon.
