    by Sienna Farfan

Freddy Mercury have been a queer icon when it comes to music, and the song “I Want to Break Free” shows it. The meaning of the song shows that we all are different in many ways, and that we should be able to express ourselves however we want. The costumes in the music video are also very iconic with all the band members dress in drag. Overall Freddy Mercury taught many people from queer community something, and that we need to break free.
