YAC has new things planned for our Program and the community in 2014. Our new blog is where you can learn about upcoming Events and our new Workshops that will be open to the public.We also want to bring you closer to the heart of things around here -what we here at YAC get to experience all the time : the daily brilliance, expression, fun, inspiration, and challenges that come with this band of young creatives, and the mentoring and support that surrounds them.We’ll have regular YACster Profiles - photo portraits and interviews by Hanni Liliedahl, and for whenever they show up in the news. We’ll keep you updated with stories from YACalums in Alumni News. In Studio will offer a closer look at the studios when they’re in session- images of YACsters in action, of their artwork, and the mentors, and of visiting artist workshops. It’s a uniquely entertaining, and inspiring place to be in the afternoons for all of us. We thought it might be fun for you to get a glimpse of it.Appreciation Attacks are for our shout outs to volunteers, and people who bring us in kind donations of needed supplies and equipment - gifts of time and from the heart. In Spotlight you’ll read about our awesome staff, board, sponsors, and vendors. This is also where you’ll find Andrew Jackson’s new video series about YAC art collectors.We hope this will be an interesting read and that you will return regularly for more stories.
