Life’s not simple and I think we all try to simplify it to a degree. Understanding life is some kind of complicated process, but creating things and expressing those ideas helps us do something complicated to get to that. Whatever makes art fun, that feeling of accomplishment also gives one the opportunity to bond with other artists. That’s why YAC has been so valuable to me, providing that space for experimentation.
