Celebrated artist, Pam Carroll, envisioned a unique collaboration with Winfield Gallery, bringing together 25 legacy artists to put on a benefit show for Youth Arts Collective (YAC). Together, they created an opportunity for art enthusiasts and collectors to support the development of young artists, nurturing both their artistic and life skills, and fostering the confidence to dream and see those dreams through.

Winfield Gallery was founded in 1989 by Christopher Winfield.

“My father was both a professional artist and an art teacher. The most important concept he taught both myself and his students was creative problem solving. I feel this concept is something YAC gives their young people, and it’s why I support what they’re giving to our community. Some may learn the artmaking skills they need for going on to become professional artists. Others will be able to use that creative problem solving skills in whatever profession they choose.”

The featured artists and Winfield Gallery are a reflection of YAC’s motto, “Do art. Be kind.” They are longtime supporters of YAC and believe in the value of having a place for young artists to innovate, think out loud, and be nurtured. Innovation and imagination are core values at YAC, where YACsters learn new methods and skills, to come at things from new and unexpected angles.

This show is a collector’s opportunity to purchase exceptional artwork where 100% of the proceeds will benefit YAC. YAC envisions a bright future ahead by deepening the impact of expanded programs and a state-of-the-art studio space. Join us for this show to appreciate and purchase a piece of art to support the new generation of artists.

Youth Arts Collective (YAC) is a nonprofit inclusive after-school art studio and mentorship program for high school and college artists (14-22). Founded 24 years ago, YAC nurtures young individuals who not only seek to grow their artistic skill, but demonstrate the desire to develop as individuals and engaged citizens in our community.
